The Commoners run 'Runnin' Blind' — a swaggering, organ-fueled first taste of their 2027 album
Canada's Commoners open the campaign for their third studio album with "Runnin' Blind," a retro roots-rock burner built on blazing guitars and driving organ, complete with an official video. Guitarist Ross Hayes Citrullo describes the feel as "running full speed down a dark road and trusting you'll make the turn before it's too late," while the band traces the lyrics to years of hard road life. The single also lends its name to the group's 12-date UK tour this November, with Gypsy Soul labelmate Spencer Mackenzie along for the ride. A high-octane opener for a rock set that likes its soul with grit.
